Ci aveva lasciati a maggio scorso con un rosso rimediato nella finale di Copa del Rey e ieri è finalmente tornato se stesso: irascibile, rissoso e sfrontato. Una sagoma, come sempre. Il povero Paul Lambert aveva le sue ragioni per lamentarsi con la quaterna arbitrale di Chelsea - Aston Villa, anticipo della terza di Premier: Ivanovic avrebbe meritato un cartellino rosso per la gomitata in faccia a Benteke, invece è andato poi a segnare, oltretutto in fuorigioco; e, a un minuto dalla fine, John Terry ha schiacciato via una palla dall’area con la manona del pallavolista. Un disastro arbitrale, che da noi avrebbe infiammato la settimana del teatrino mediatico. A Londra invece il tutto si spegne in 24 ore al massimo.
Ma JM non lascia passare nulla: cazziatone immediato a Lambert nell’area degli allenatori (“the Happy One turns into Incredible Sulk during his touchline row with Lambert”, titola oggi il “Daily Mail”). E dichiarazioni paternalistiche nel dopo gara: “Until the 95th minute with the result unpredictable when nobody knows what is going to happen, Paul has a certain type of personality and behaviour on the bench that pushes for that. He reminds me of myself 10 years ago when I was complaining about every decision, when I want to coach my team and at the same time I want to have a whistle on my lip. He is the same. He will change. With time and experience he will change because he complains about every, every, every decision. But he is a young manager, very intelligent. He plays very well, adapted to the quality of his players. I wish him good. I like him and no problem. Just little discussions”. Impunito direbbero a Roma …
